May 5th 2009 - Juran has combined its two innovative processing technologies into a comprehensive pomegranate processing system.

ArilSystem™ is Juran's system for automated extraction of arils from pomegranates and fresh defrost is a system of pre-freezing of the fruit to provide extended shelf-life.

The combined system which was initially designed to address the Japanese market has been upgraded to address needs of other markets expanding rapidly with the growing awareness of the beneficial properties of pomegranates for human health.
